"How I Grew: A Year-End Journey" - Jan 23 - Dec 23 !

Hey there to whoever's still hanging in my little corner – welcome to the place where I dump my thoughts AKA "trash no one reads."
if you're here, thanks for bearing with my thoughts and if you're still reading this, let's dive into the chaos together!

So, I hadn't written anything this year because, well, motivation took a vacation.
here I am, breaking my year-long silence. I didn't feel like blogging this year, lost some motivation, and maybe worried a bit about being judged for my words. But, against the odds, I decided to write because someday, maybe years from now, I want to look back on these posts.

Reflecting on this year, it kicked off pretty rough, as those who read my "Jan12" blog would know. Despite the challenges, I tried to gather myself, cried a bit, messed up, but guess what? I learned.

Professionally, i've stumbled, shed a few tears over mess-ups and mistakes but there's a littul pittul of growth,  i discovered that mistakes are just lessons in disguise and yeah, a big-up for my seniors, i may ask some seemingly dumb questions, but they never make me feel stupid, as the junior-most (so as i think) on the team, i look up to them and aim to be as tech-savvy and strong in my skills as they're. Highlight: I tackled some cloud technical courses, bagged my first AWS Cloud Practitioner certificate– yay me!

Next up, while diving into exploring possibilities for further learning has been on my mind. Honestly, I've never crafted, nor will I ever create, a comprehensive plan for the coming year because, every two minutes, I realize I need a different life (lol).

Oh, forgot to mention a littul professional highlight-- received feedback emails from one of my favorite senior, ending the year on a happy note.

Speaking of plans, apart from setting goals for 2024, I also aim to analyze areas of improvement and lessons learned in the key spheres. Putting these reflections into writing makes them more tangible. I firmly believe that while I could simply journal these thoughts, expressing them here adds a sense of responsibility and motivation to check off my lists and priorities.

Fingers crossed, I'm currently working on something important to me, and by February, I'll know if I've made it. Let's see! Also, planning to put together a vision board, taking it one small step at a time.

No grand plan for the coming year – life's too unpredictable for that.

On a personal note, i started a degree in psychology and i've been exploring painting, reading,  went solo to bookstores and they became my escape, and i ran until i could barely breathe and  exhausted myself. I even planned a birthday trip by myself but got cancelled, and birthday trip turned into birthday nap and well my bday is a mixed bag of anxieties and tears every year – a tradition i'm trying to break. (honestly atp i hate bdays)

Friends seem to be on a disappearing act, Friends? Well, I'm not sure if anyone's left, and the whole friend dynamic is beyond complicated to explain in early 20s i guess.

Ups and downs? Absolutely. it was a stormy start, but i navigated through it, learned from mistakes, and celebrated achievements. here's to more learnings, and embracing the unpredictable journey that lies ahead!

This sounds like a bit diary entry now, but it eez what it eez. This year, I'm choosing hope and a little less anxiety. Let's kickstart this journey!

!By the way, I'm making a vision board. Wish me!

love y’alls ❤
Peace and Love
Nanna 😊
